01 — About the Project
Love Letters to Chinatown is part of the larger Love Letters to the World: San Francisco campaign — a nonprofit storytelling initiative that began in the Mission District and now continues in Chinatown.
Through intimate interviews, cinematic portraits, and neighborhood history, the film captures the voices, struggles, and spirit that continue to shape one of San Francisco's most iconic communities.
02 — Our Vision
Not only a film. A living cultural archive.
This project is rooted in community voices, local history, and intergenerational memory.
By documenting Chinatown with care and depth, we hope to expand the film's reach, deepen its storytelling, and return it to the community through meaningful public screenings.
